CNBC reports that construction drone use increased 239 percent year over year, which is higher than the levels of drone growth in both mining and agriculture. While drones are capable of tasks like thermal heat imaging and mapping, they’re mostly used for aerial photography. Drones’ ability to hover in one place and take photos means they take better images than planes.
